Berlin born Helene is a multi-instrumentalist, composer and theatre performer; she joined the cast of STOMP in 2015.
Helene studied percussion and drums at the World Music Academy in Rotterdam and ‘Improvised Music for Vocals’ at the Bruckner University in Linz. Her work as a composer includes collaborations with MAAS Theatre Company (the Netherlands), Sali Betinzane (Syria), Nelson Faria (Brazil) and others.
With the band Zulemax, Helene performed at Montreux Jazz Festival (2014) in France and she’s recorded the CD “Zulemax llegó” (2012), with original composition arranged by Cuban Grammy Award holder Joaquin Betancourt.
In 2011 she founded the NGO World Music Factory leading projects and education programmes in Viña del Mar, Constitución, Licantén and Santiago, Chile and the community of Darling, South Africa.
As a theater performer she joined the national tour of Senf Theatre’s production “Here, There and Everywhere” as Ringo Star in 2010.
From 2012-2015 Helene joined MAAS Dance Theater Company and the Lichtbende Theater Company touring WILD THING throughout Europe and TUTU worldwide.
