Members of our London cast have swapped their Stomping boots for yellow wellies in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institutions Mayday campaign. The yearly campaign raises funds for crucial RNLI kit for brave volunteer lifeboat crews including the essential yellow wellies worn for generations by RNLI volunteers.
The RNLI team visited the Ambassador’s theatre for a photo-shoot with some of the Stomp London cast and we had a lot of fun whilst helping to raise awareness for such an important cause.
Stomper Serena Morgan said: ‘I enjoyed wearing the RNLI’s iconic yellow wellies so much, that I wanted to take them home with me! It’s easy to forget how important water safety is and how valuable RNLI volunteer crew members are, so we want to inspire people to raise as much money for the charity as they can. I encourage everyone to visit RNLI.org/Mayday to see how they can support the campaign.’
The RNLI Mayday campaign runs throughout May with fundraising events taking place across the UK and Ireland, many of which will be themed around the yellow wellies!
